O’Hagan’s Sausages was founded in London 25 years ago by Bill O’Hagan. Bill grew up on a farm in East Griqualand, Natal and attended historic Maritzburg College. Bill worked as a journalist before deciding to pursue his passion, sausages!
O’Hagan’s opened the world’s first fresh sausage shop in Greenwich, South East London. The event attracted lots of media attention and Bill appeared on BBC TV’s Big Breakfast and The One Show.
It was an honour to meet and work with Bill O’Hagan. Doyenne of sausage makers, raconteur, journalist and all round fun loving gentleman. His famous cry of “More Beer!!” will be sorely missed.
O’Hagan’s Sausages are produced in Chichester, West Sussex with Bill’s son Liam holding the reins. They make approximately 160 different sausages. From the traditional to the exotic. You order, we deliver!

I was fortunate enough to be invited by Liam and Bill to join them at Jimmy’s Farm outside Ipswich. There we met Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty and took part in their “Sausage Wars” television programme. It was a brilliant day, listening to experts talk about their products. I even got to appear on “Sausage Wars” for a few seconds!
