Spit Roast Hire. So many options are available to you and any one of them will impress your friends, relatives and colleagues. The following options give you the flexibility to decide which one suits your needs. Budget is understandably an important consideration and we’ve made it easy for you to decide. Option 1

Spit Roast Hire with the essential trimmings.
This is where we step in and allow you the time to entertain your guests, settle down and relax with a good pint of Sixpenny IPA.
The IPA or other drink of choice is additional to the price but can be provided by us, as we are fully licenced.
We’ll set everything up and cook your pig perfectly, carve it and serve on fresh bread rolls with apple sauce, homemade coleslaw and our delicious red onion marmalade…..so good!!
We also provide good quality disposable napkins, plates and cutlery.
Half pig…£700.00 for up to 70 guests.
Whole pig…£900.00 for up to 130 guests and £3.50 per head for any additional guests up to 160.

A vegetarian/vegan option can be added at only £5.00 per person. This would normally consist of barbecued veggie burgers and sausages or quiche. We would ensure that each person requiring a veggie option would have at least two portions.

Gluten Free bread rolls can be provided if requested before the day of the event.

Option 2

Full on Spit Roast Hire…. go the whole hog with our most popular option!
We’ll do everything in option 1, add crunchy green leaf salad plus a potato salad, tasty homemade coleslaw and a tomato, red onion and cucumber salad.
Half pig…£800.00 for up to 70 guests.
Whole pig…£1200.00 for up to 130 guests and £5.00 per head for any additional guests up to 160. Please contact Spit Roast Hire & BBQ for larger parties.

Spit Roast Hire – Whole Lamb

Be different? Why not try our Spit Roast British Lamb?
A fantastic option that will feed up to 60 people. Tender cuts of lamb served in fresh rolls with mint sauce will surely get the taste buds going….it is so delicious and your friends will love it!

Full Service Whole Lamb…please call or email us for a price.
We will cook, carve and serve your lamb with mint sauce, bread rolls, a green salad, our special homemade new potato salad and homemade slaw.

Our delicious jumbo size Keatings Irish Sausages can be added to the above options. We cook the sausages over charcoal fires, provide the bread rolls and sauces for only £5.00 per person. A great option to snack on whilst your pig or lamb is sizzling away in our Hog Boss spit roaster. The sausages are served in soft rolls and are a great favourite with the kids and adults alike!

Spit Roast Hire covers Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire including Christchurch, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Fordingbridge, Poole, Ringwood, Salisbury, Wimborne and the New Forest.

On booking with us we will ask for a deposit of £100 to secure the date. This deposit is not refundable if the customer cancels the event.

  3. Fantastic sausage barbecue and spit roast! We hired O’Hagan’s Sausage BBQ and Spit Roast for our dad’s 50th. Highly recommended. The charcoal barbecue and range of pickles, chutney’s and sauces really makes these guys stand out from the rest! Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

    Mark and Charmaine were really friendly and helpful and did a great job of cooking and serving the food.
    Our guests really enjoyed the hog roast and commented on how delicious the mushroom sauce and BBQ chillies were.
    All the preparations before the party went smoothly, Tony was friendly and helpful when discussing our requirements.

  8. Absolutely excellent service from Tony & Rita for our Retirement party last weekend.
    Despite despicable weather all day – the Hog was ready for my guests to eat at the right time.
    Everyone said it was the best “Hog Roast” they had ever tasted and I have passed on contact numbers to several people who have inquired who the supplier was.
    We are now looking to see when we can use their fantastic service again. Everything was perfect including the veggie sausages for a few non-pork eaters – they were very impressed they were not quorn and apparently very tasty. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys – absolutely the best !!

  9. Our MG Club Hog Roast for the 2nd year running was just as successful as last year. The service was excellent, the meat succulent and plentiful and the salads were exceptional. Everyone had a wonderful time, a really lovely afternoon. Thank you Rita & Tony for your hard work, I know you had to get up very early to have everything ready for us. We look forward to our Hog Roast next year.

Juicy, succulent and tasty and the salad that you brought with it was beautifully presented and again, full of flavour (which is some achievement for a salad). Food aside, the service was first rate, you were excellent with our guests, especially the children and you were professional and friendly throughout. Thank you so much.

    From the time you arrived in the morning and set up to the service to our guests through to the end of the evening.
    It all went so well with our rustic theme, would recommend you to anyone.

    My daughter’s wedding event was on 15th June 2019, we booked Tony and Rita for a Hog Roast to cater for 120 guests. I have to say a massive thank you to both Tony and Rita for the amazing service, food and everything that went with it.
    Everyone expressed how fantastic the day was and how it was complimented by the great food, the Crackling is to die for!
    I would recommend them to anyone and will!
